Just put tape over the light. If you can't see it, it won't bother you lol.

So I got to the engine and had a look at the two Air Filters. As I suspected, they look brand new as they were only changed two weeks before I bought the car. Nothing to clean there. They're the stock filters, nothing performance like K&N. I don't have any MAF cleaning solution so I never took the MAF out.

If the filters were replaced, make sure the clamp on the back of the airbox is tight and properly seated into the rubber intake tubes as if those leak you can get a lean code as it is behind the MAF and since it was recently likely removed to do the filters, could be the issue.

Thanks.

Gonna check that right now.

EDIT: The rubber intake tubes are tightly clamped in from what I can tell.

Does lean mean too much oxygen, or not enough oxygen?

Sometimes if you don't get the airbox all the way into the rubber where it sits in a little groove, tightening the clamps will actually slip off where they should be and will cause an air gap in the sealing area.

Lean is when there is too much oxygen and not enough fuel in the ratio.

Check the rear of the airboxes, I just replaced mine on my new to me c63 and found the old filter was torn a bit, assuming that its possible to force it closed and have an air leak if the filter isnt seated. Also possible to crack the plastic of the airbox itself similar to the engine cover that most people crack when removing it.

My car is now at the mechanics. My mechanic said that my PCV valve was broken in half. Only half of it was on the car, the other half broken off. So he’s ordered a new one of those, should be here tomorrow. Even then he’s still got more investigating to do.

Right, got my car back. My mechanic changed the PCV valve and that managed to turn off the yellow CEL. Now to give the car a good run and make sure the light doesn't come back on. Cost me £210.

The old PCV valve had somehow melted, which is odd as there shouldn't be a huge amount of heat where that valve is positioned.

New Question:
My Air Conditioning doesn't blow cold on the passenger side (front & rear), but works perfectly on the drivers side (front & rear). Is there some setting I'm missing where I can get it to blow cold on both sides? I think I've tried everything...or it could be faulty.
