Liqui Molly for 507

Good Sunday to you all! I would be grateful for your help. My newly acquired white/black 507 sedán with 20,000 milles had its first oil and filter change in my watch. Mobil 1 0W-40 was used. 8.5 liters were used, which is the nominal specd. fill capacity. No valve lifter ticking or other noises were present. After three weeks I checked the oil level; it was checked with cold, no start engine, early in the morning. Per the dipstick, level was at minimum mark and, since I always prefer to keep all levels at specified maximums, I added one liter. Checked again the following day and level was at full, however now valve lifter ticking is present. I intend to not use the car and proceed with another oil change using Liqui Molly Leichtlauf High Energy 5W-40 and Ceratec using only 8.5 liters in total. Before the change I intend to flush the enginge with a Liqui Molly aditive. I would be garateful for you views and suggestion son the following questions: 1.- Do you agree with the choice of oil and Ceratec? Two bottles of Ceratec is correct? Repeat Ceratec every 40,000 kms? Use Liqui Molly MoS2 every 8,000 miles at oil change when no Ceratec will be added? 2.- Liqui Molly lists several engine flush products; I am considering Motor Clean (compatible with all commercialy available motor oils), Pro Line Engine Flush ( compatible with most commercialy available motor oils), and Engine Flush Plus (compatible with all commercialy available motor oils); would you use any of these? Which one? Calculate the exact ammonunt corresponding to the 8.5 liter engine oil capacity? or just add two bottles?, and 3.- When adding the ceratec and engine flush, the ammount to be added has to be substracted (drained) from the total engine capacity of 8.5 liters or added. Thank you!!!

Also I believe you are supposed to check oil with the engine up to operating temp and then 10 minutes after shutting off the car, checking dead cold won’t give an accurate reading.

I never had good experience when I ran Liquimoly 5w40. Ran it for 20k miles with MoS2 and Ceratec and always had random lifter tick, especially in hot weather. Switched to Shell Rotella T6 5w40 with MoS2 and never heard a tick ever again.

I would say at 20k miles a lot of the stuff he mentioned isn't needed. Change the oil often.
