Need to check spark plug in cylinder 5. Can’t seem to see a dedicated diagram online or on the forums that is specific to the M156 W204 to guarantee that I’m checking the right cylinder.

anyone have a diagram or know where to find one let me know.

did my due diligence searching here but either there isn’t a thread or my keyword searching skills are sub par.

either way any assistance is much appreciated!

Diagram below applies to a M113 V8. Not sure for the M156 but it probably could be the same knowing MB

I assume the left is the front of the motor?

Correct. Facing the engine from the front

Well hopefully that’s it. Bout to pull the coil and plug from that cylinder. Need to research it just a bit more

That diagram is correct.

Cylinder 5 is drivers side nearest the front of the engine bay (furthest from firewall). The cylinder numbering seems to be the same on MB v8's just the firing order can change up a bit I believe.
