Oil fill with cooler drain?

So I changed my oil and drained the cooler for over 1 hour, I filled the car initially with 9.2 and after checking the oil It was low, so I added another qt slowly until it showed on the 3rd tab.

does this sounds ok? 10 qts??

Follow the manual. I believe it says start the car until its up to temp then let the car sit for 5 minutes before checking. If you do it any other way you'll get inaccurate readings.

As go team said you need to run the engine before checking as filling the oil pan won't have the oil just run into the oil coolers as the piping goes up and down.

As others have said, check it as per the manual, 10 sounds a bit high, I have never gotten that much in mine even with an oil cooler drain. The FCP kit comes with 9 liters and I usually get about 8 liters in it and I run an additive, so usually 2 cans of that which is 300 ml each, so total I get 9 liters in it or just a little shy of 9.
