I managed to source some C63 AMG Edition 1 19" wheels to install on my W204, which I have seen from previously researching the forum to be a popular and relatively easy OEM mod.
I found these wheels at a local tyre shop.
Wheels
The tyre shop manager says they are genuine MB AMG wheels from a C63S AMG Edition 1. The AMG logo looks legitimate.
However, I checked online and I noticed that from photos from reputable websites like Kunzmann, and other large wheel distributors, the part number stamping appears to be on the back of the hub of the wheel, like so:
On my wheel, there is nothing (see below):
The wheels I have found, have the part number stamped along the inner back of the rim edge.
Does anyone know whether it is possible that the wheels I have found are genuine, but for whatever reason, the part number was stamped on the back side of the rim edge rather than the back of the wheel hub, like in the other examples I found? Or, are these replica wheels?
Tyre shop manager said they came in off a 2016 Edition 1. I have no reason to doubt his word, it's a huge tyre shop that is an official dealer for several major tyre brands, but I'm worrying if this is a case where the previous owner bought replica wheels after he damaged his own and has now on sold them posing as genuine wheels.
They look genuine.
And yes the etchings all make sense.
Pics 1&5 are Mercedes part numbering.
Pic 3 is a size 9.5" x 19" ET56 (offset)
All the Aussie W206 C63 fully forged wheels have the etchings around the rim.

I have been looking for a silver set (titanium) for a while, plenty of black sets around.
