So yesterday on the way to work got a battery light message about 20 mins later COMMAND shut off battery voltage was at 11.6 car was also idling funny in the 700-750 range i scanned car for codes there was nothing. But i cleared dtcs anyway drove home 45 mins idling fine no battery light nothing. After doing a pull battery voltage went to 12.1-12.3 still no battery light or nothing. Can this be a old battery?

Do you have a factory battery? If so, what is the date code. Check for a stamp on top of the negative terminal post.
