If you don't care about carbon looks you can make the same power with row boxes and ml63 y pipe.

MAF sensors were on the outside of V1. V1 was less bulbous. The one listed is V2.

Tested that, makes nothing. ROW's make little to nothing, only box that actually made power was the Renntech box.

I tested them and gained airflow while logging but also had headers and 82mm tbs. Did you try the bigger y pipe?

Did this several years ago at EC Canada. It was a waste of time. The Row's are sketchy too. These airboxes don't make much power at all, but the Renntech made almost 10 WHP on the dyno same day. Look for my original post years ago, i posted the graphs.

I have renntech TB's and long tubes as well.

I had complete opposite on the y pipe and picked up 2 mph. You sure you tried the y pipe because I was the first one to do it. Any pics of it on your car?

Its a huge difference in size vs stock pipe.

Every photo in this thread (3) and the photo in the eBay listing shows differences in design. So much for only 2 versions.

I did, and found it vague. So please clarify if your testing covered the specific combination of ROW airbox lids and the early M156 Y-Pipe.

Respectfully, instructing to search through old posts rather than answering a simple Yes/No question is a bit silly, especially when that question is directed at something you claimed.

picked up a RennTech box a few months ago on Facebook marketplace of all places for $1,500. They are definitely rare to find on the used market for a decent price.

Yea these also look different than the one listed on eBay. I messaged the seller asking him for a deal and he wasn’t budging at all. If Kriston is saying both iterations of the designs basically function the exact same, it really Makes me want this intake more but seller is being a little uptight.
