Factory HID to Aftermarket HID?
Hello!
I have a PFL 09 C63, and I've been eyeing some aftermarket headlight options.
Unfortunately, almost all of them say it's incompatible with the factory HID option (that's what I have) but honestly I'm tempted to get rid of it as I've had 3 ballast failures in the last 14 months or so (plus water seeping in), and was wondering if it's possible to convert my factory HID back to factory halogen or aftermarket HID. I couldn't really get a straight answer from my mechanic friend and nor could I get one from a dealer, and I couldn't really find anything online.
Alternatively, can I just put the factory HIDs in and just go without the auto-levelling?
