Engine coolant

I know there are some threads about this topic already but here's my dilemma. I own a 2011 c63 amg w204 and Few months back my coolant reservoir sprung a leak and since then I've replaced hoses, thermostat, sensors, radiator, etc. I know I'm bleeding the air out of the engine properly: jack up the car on the side of the reservoir tank to help the air escape, using a venturi style bleeder and even squeezing/burping it to make sure but still overheating within 5 min if driving.

Here's my question... I'm using zerex g05 (50/50) premixed but I'm questioning it because I'm pretty sure the coolant in it before was blue, I've read that the genuine Mercedes formula is also blue, and when I ordered the radiator from pelican parts that sent me g48 which is blue but the zerex chart calls for G05 yellow I've gone through at least 6 bottles (4 when hoses popped out on 2 different occasions)

Can someone who is 100 percent sure please let me know which I should be using. Thanks in advance

I can't answer you on the coolant. Although differences in brands tends to not effect the basic functionality of the cooling system, i.e.; preventing overheating. You could even put plain water in there and not overheat. I've seen some do this for troubleshooting on other platforms as it's much easier than dealing with coolant.

I would get yourself a chemical test to check the coolant for a head gasket leak. If you're overheating that fast and popping hoses, those are definite symptoms of a blown head gasket.

You should never use anything other than the OEM Mercedes coolant for your specific engine in the car. Mixing coolants can cause it to gel up in very short order and destroy your cooling system and/or motor if you end up mixing coolants with IAT and OAT anti-corrosion additives. If your car keeps overheating, that is a definite possibility.

The MB 325.0 coolant Mercedes uses as of mid-2012 is G48 based, not G05. Both of them are hybrid OAT, but while the G05 contains nitrites, the G48 contains organic acid salts. There was a TSB about the switchover. However, neither is compatible with the MB 325.6 coolant which is G40 based and which BeVo 320.1 lists as the only one compatible with M15x engines.

In other words, if it were my car I would now get it towed to Mercedes, get them to do a flush with the citrus based cleaner they use for this specific purpose and get them to diagnose what the issue is. You may have inadvertently compounded the problem by the addition of an incompatible coolant.
