Bad tie rod help
Had a flat tire and took my car to the tire shop to have it patched, they told me I had a bad tie rod
So I purchased a new one thinking this was going to be an easy job but I can't get the old one off any suggestions. Seems like it should be a pretty simple job

Ball joint separator is the least destructive/abrasive way to do it.

Okay guys I got the old tie rod off and I have a few new questions to ask
1) I didn't properly break the nut off to take the tie rod off initially and went a few turns with it on there. Doing that meant I rotated the inner tie rod is that going to be an issue?
2) also I didn't mark the old tie rod perfectly is it going to be an issue if my new tie rod is not in the best place before I get an alignment?
3) anyone know the torque spec or where I can find torque specs for the nut that holds the outer tie rod on to the steering knuckle?
