Dyno without Dyno Mode

Guys will it make a difference if you dyno our cars without enabling dyno mode? Lower HP/torque numbers?

I think it just shuts stability off so if you are only rotating the real wheels the car doesn’t panic cut throttle and lock your rear brakes

Why not enable dyno mode?
Turn off traction control and you should be good.

There is a separate dyno mode? Or is it one in the same, with turning all the nannies off?

Yes, there is a separate dyno mode. Shuts everything off including ABS.

You have to dyno the car in dyno mode for it to work. Otherwise a the stability kicks in and kills power and the car act dumb. I literally tried this on one of my dyno days with just traction control off and it wouldn't work. Idk why doing a burnout works but dyno doesn't, my guess is it senses the brake input etc. But duno mode needs to be enabled

Good to know, but how to you shut everything off? Pull some fuses or relays perhaps?

no, its a special menu that allows you to turn on dyno mode and thats what shuts everything off.

There's YouTube videos that show you how to get into it.

My guess is that when doing a burnout, the car's sensors senses the front wheels moving, so it doesn't freak out and start limiting wheel spin.
