Long tube header installation info

hi guys,

I just want to know/compare how much time it takes to install Long tube headers ?

8 hours with a lift, every tool you’d ever need, plus two friends. It’s pretty intense. (MBH)

7hrs on a lift with no special tools aside from a swivel head ratcheting 11mm wrench. In that time we replaced the motor mounts. Didn’t touch the steering rack, some do for more room.

More like 12 hours for me on jack stands, but it was the first work I've ever done on a car. It's a real pain in the *** to deal with those 11mm nuts.

drop the steering rack saves alot of time.

About 7 hours on jack stands.
The hardest part was the removal of the OEM headers. Put some PB-blast (penetrating oil) on the nuts the night before, make a big difference.
