I have a faulty abs sensor on the front left but the number on the sensor does not match any that are for sale in the UK, any advice would be appreciated
Probably too late to help you, but just in case:
The W204 C63 front wheel speed sensor is P/N A 204 905 30 05. Both sides use the same part.
I had the dealer diagnose an ABS/TC warning light last year, diagnose the problem as the wheel speed sensor, and charge me about $600 for the replacement.
The other side crapped out this year. I bought the part online from a dealer for $80 and replaced it in an hour.
The part number you're looking at (on the sensor head) isn't what you need. You can only buy the whole assembly (cable and sensor). The actual part number is on the cable itself, up behind the plastic wheel well liner near where it plugs into the car body. The p/n on the original part (from my 2012 C63) was A 204 905 79 02. The current replacement is A 204 905 30 05.
I had better luck searching for parts when I left out all the spaces in the part number.
