Replacing lifters
My 2014 C63 has 67k miles. I've got some chatter on startup, and plan on replacing the cam adjuster plates. Someone mentioned doing the lifters while I'm in there. I know the Black Series ones exist and are $$$. I found some from FCP Euro made by INA. Anyone have a comment on these?
Also, I've watched many vids on doing the adjuster plates and using the timing tool. Am I correct in that if I remove the camshafts, I just need to make sure they re-align with the rear bar from the timing tool kit but have the intake and exhaust lobes facing in opposite directions? Then re-attach the adjusters?
