Car Shifting Weird After Service. Please Help
Hi Guys,
I had the car serviced today and the below was done, but upon driving home the car is flaring in every upshift and slamming downshifts. It’s normally smooth in comfort mode and was fine when I dropped it off. Could any of the following work cause shift problems?
Engine Oil & Filter
Air Filters
Spark Plugs
Pollen filter
I am sure I have read of the years on this forum airleaks can cause weird shift issues. Do you think the airboxs, filters or the top two clamps on the engine cover are not tight enough of a seal causing this issue? Or maybe something hasn’t been put back correctly such as maf sensors or air filters?

Yeah start by checking all the maf plug ins, the air filter house bolts and the two clamps.
your symptoms would point me to low transmission fluid or what you might get right after a fluid change that has been left for too long between changing so odd that it comes from the work performed.

I am pretty sure I have fixed the issue, The drivers side (UK) maf rubber hose was pinched by the underside of the rubber/jubilee clip on the top of the airbox. I took it for a drive and all seems fine now.
