2012 C63 PP
Recommend a repair shop in Toronto GTA please..
Hello all,

I have a 2012 C63 Track edition with 60,000 Km. Have some oil moisture around the Valve cover gasket that I would like to have looked at and maybe replaced. Can anyone recommend a good shop that doesn't charge stupid $$$ for this kind of work? Thx

For $100 I'll put some kitchen sink silicone around it for you.

I suspect that your expectations of what constitutes stupid $$$ are completely skewed.

I take it you've never got a quote from a Mercedes dealership?? Now that is stupid $$$. ****... My dealership is charging $1000 for a simple service (oil change and inspection). Personally, I value money. I'm not cheap but I don't **** it away either. To each is own.

I service all three of my Mercs at a dealership, all of which are well past the warranty expiry dates. An oil change on my C63 two weeks ago - with draining both oil coolers as I have the 44O kit on mine and 9.5L of oil - was $273.84 CAD. Try again.

Oh, and I did have to have the same gasket and valve cover replaced on mine last year as it was also stating to leak. The whole job including the new valve cover was under $500 CAD ($480?), again at the same dealership.
