Bad steering knuckle/spindle?
Hi
I got a werid issue going on. Had front wheel bearing grinding noise. Replaced front wheel bearing while keeping the old wheel hub. Used daily indicator to set bearing play. Everything is fine for a few days then i hear popping and knocking noise coming from front wheel bearing area. Think I must have set the play wrong. Double check, everything within spec. Tightened and check play again just to be sure. Fine again for two days then popping noise again. After some more driving it got worse, felt like bad bearings with the wheels wobbling. Repeated, fine for two days then the popping came back.
Thought something must be wrong with the new bearings or I did something wrong. Ordered new hub with bearings. This time i noticed some pitting in the spindle where the outer bearing sits on both sides. Installed new hubs, popping nosie back after one day. The popping noise comes after driving a few miles when everything heats up. In the beginning while turning, after a while all the time. No wobble so far.
Could this be bad spindles or do anyone have any other suggestions? All the front control arms and bushes except sway bar where replaced about 8 months ago.

Tried two sets of wheel bearings, new hubs and knuckles. Every time i touch the car it's fine then after a few miles of driving vibrations, wheel wobble, popping noise from wheels driving straight and turning.
Anyone know this issue?

Replaced 8 months ago. Looks fine. This whole problem started with the first wheel bearing replacement but I can't see that I did anything wrong or that anything looks wrong.
