I have a few questions...

Should I replace it with a better type of manifold instead of OEM...or is OEM the only kind?
Anything else I should get fixed while this is off?
Is this something a person who isnt exactly a mechanic could do themselves?
Can I drive with this broke?

You should not. Leave it alone. If the intake was off, you should replace the PCV valve. This is not something a person who is not exactly a mechanic should touch. You should not drive with a broken intake manifold..
