So my headlight assembly needs to be replaces due to leaks

MB OEM is currently on back order; who knows for how long with COVID

Anyone had experience with Automotive Lighting? Is this a sub-par product compared to OEM?

if you don't have factory HID's, many prefer the aftermarket depo headlights since they have a cosmetic led strip.

Owned by Magneti Marelli which is OEM for many manufacturers. My experience with them is on the BMW side and quality was excellent.

Are the replacements you are looking at actually branded Automotive Lighting or Marelli?

they are branded Automotive Lighting

My current ones are Xenon - stock MB

Automotive lightning is an original equipment manufacturer. Anything they make is orders of magnitude better quality than Depo.

You might want to double check who makes the genuine MB headlights. Maybe look at used lights photos on ebay... You might find they have a AL sticker on them.

I just looked at mine and the oem ones say Automotive lighting on them.
