Battery Replacement

I got an Odysse ODP-AGM48 H6 L3 Battery (see attachment) to replace the one in my 2012 C63 AMG Sedan. Mine is mounted in the trunk. The website here told me it was a correct replacement, but when i got the battery it wasn't as long as the stock Mercedes battery that is in there now, which is about 5-8 cm longer. Question: will a shorter battery fit in the place of the longer one. Will the locking bracket adjust so that I can secure the new shorter battery or will I have to retrofit some other bracket?

I'd say their search tool is flawed. Here's the link to Interstate and it's clearly the proper length.
