Normal Engine Movement or Bad Motor Mounts?
Hi all,
I just purchased by first AMG - a 2013 c63. I am coming from the BMW m4, and so far am loving the big naturally aspirated v8.
I noticed an oil leak coming from the bottom of my car the other day and think it is the motor mounts, since the leak was a lot all at once and since then it has not leaked. I tested the motor mounts by revving the engine with foot on the brake. The motor did not move as dramatically as other test videos I have seen but still moved. Revs were 1200-1500 RPM.
Based on the video can anyone tell me if this is normal engine movement or if I have a bad motor mount?

motor mounts won't just fail...they'll slowly fail over time. over time they'll lose height and upon hard acceleration you'll hear a clunk because the engine is lifting and dropping back onto the mount...this can occur while still sealed with no leakage.
your mounts look worn but not "failed"
