hi there my c63 that i bought a few days ago, the dealer told me the knob which u use for the control of the screen is broken and will fix it for me when it ships in in a few days. without the knob i cannot press the option to connect to a bluetooth device so is there a way to play music with my phone without using the knob at all for example using a usb. ive tried so many things and nothing
its a 2009 screen btw
2009 (certainly the Aus version) does not have bluetooth for music - only phone.
There is a usb port in the glove box but once again you will need the rotary command control to use it.
To bluetooth music via phone you will need to buy a bluethooth to usb dongle. They work well save that track names do not appear on screen but you can control volume and track forward/back.
This applies to Android - I have no idea what can be done with Apple on a cable.
oh okay i had no idea it was only for phone wow, woulda waited for it to repair for nothing then haha, appreciate it man gonna go buy one rn then. thank you
Do you have the 30 pin Apple connection in the Glovebox? If so there are some adapters that allow Bluetooth Music. I can control via steering wheel and see song titles in my dash with my 2009 this way.
