Looking to Borrow or buy SoCal MyGenius Eurocharged tuner ASAP
Hello all, its been a while. I bought an abandoned 2012 C63 AMG and it has a Eurocharged tune on it. The car used to belong to a forum member and got sold and abandoned by someone else... Not sure if they were a member here but anyway. I need to flash it back to stock because stupid CA smog tests detected a tune. Took it to stealer and they said nothing to flash back to stock "stock tune was still on there". This seemed odd to me since I know now that the o2 sensors are not ready. Also found paperwork from previous owner that he failed smog for a similar reason before cali was detecting tunes. I did some digging and spoke to the previous forum member and he was able to get me the tune thats already on the car and is going to get the stock tune as well..... hopefully. If I get the stock tune, im hoping i can buy a used MyGenius handheld since i dont have one. If your're in LA or socal im down to pick it up, flash the car and return it with some compensation... Please let me know... I can't get a title, sell the car, and cant fully rescue this car. Thanks guys!

I’m in Calabasas and have a spare one from Eurocharged for the GLK I sold recently.
I’m pretty sure they’re locked to the car VIN but could be wrong. I’d check with EC first to be sure. If they say no prob, you can pick mine up anytime. PM me whenever you’d like.

Eurocharged can unlock it by sending a request to dimsport directly. After its unlocked on their end, connect it to a computer and run the mygenius software. The dimsport server picks up your handheld and resets it. I did it a few months ago. Might have been a 200$ fee

if you'd like to return to stock but also want a custom tune built for you feel free to reach out. we've tuned many cars that also needed to return to stock for emissions, but also all of our tunes are emissions compliant as well. we supply both tunes to all of our customers and make the files available through private web access of which the vehicle owner can access the tune files at any time.
