Tremac TR6060 Manual gearbox behind M156
I have the opportunity to get another C63 204 Coupe that has been flood damaged (statuary write off). I think it would be a fun drift or circuit car with a manual 'box.
Has anybody done a Tremac TR6060 conversion? I am thinking maybe even a C6 transaxle (because I have access to one).
It appears that it would not be too hard to design the clutch & bell-housing conversion... adaptor plate & flywheel, probably using an LS9 dual-plate clutch... but maybe it has already been done.
Anybody seen or heard of one?
Links?
(I know of the BMW 'box kit - not an option for me).

the clutch is used to get started. You can also use the clutch between shifts. Rather than synchros, they use dog rings to engage each gear. To shift, there just needs to be a momentary interruption in torque (either lift the throttle or program the ECU to cut ignition or fuel when a strain gauge on the shifter or the sensor on a paddle detects the shift is commanded). It’s better if you youtube it. Once you see how dog rings work, it will make sense. Most sequential boxes have straight cut gears for strength too which is why they often have loud whine.
