M156 bucket ticking and slight pressure coming out of the oil filler hole…
Just recently swapped an m156 Long block (reconditioned) with my old long block that threw a rod… after putting everything together and correcting the issue that destroyed my first motor (leaking injectors) I now have an idling motor that sounds a bit rough and has bucket ticking issue and slight pressure coming out of the oil filler hole… I also have 2 misfires (cylinder 1 2 7) but the fault counters on all cylinders stop when I’m driving… can anyone give me some insight on what my problem might be?

Regarding pressure, check if your pcv valve and hose is intact
Located at the rear of the engine, behind the intake manifold.
Sometimes the 'hose' cracks, creating a leak in crankcase..

thanks for insight, I recently changed the pcv valve… but before I install it I was curious and checked how that particular pcv valve works and I blew air into both ends of the hose/ pipe and it was allowing air to go both ways…. Is that normal? Could it be a defective unit that I’ve been over looking?
