Hi All,

My car has the usual ABS, ESP lights and cruise control inoperable, which I usually just turn the car off and lock it for 30 seconds back on and its ok. This time after a MB recall it has all the lights, plus the speedo wont read anything, the pre-safe has stopped working and the engine light is on.

I've taken it back to MB and they say that they cant read the unit, I cant read it with my machine either. Before I pull the unit off for repair is there anything else I should check? The car is a PFL with no mods just a stock P31 car. I'm based in the UK so it is a UK spec car.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Check for good power, ground and can communication voltages. That's all it needs to communicate. what recall did they do?

They did an airbag recall (which they've done wrong)

I have a test light now so I'll check the pins.
