the hard line is a pain to remove if never been removed. it is for the gas tank pressure purge / charcoal canister and leads to both throttle bodies within the intake manifold.

that's why i left it attached. i wasnt sure how to remove it and it has crimped connections at each end. I've since purchased a set of stainless crimp clamps so if I removed the IM again, i would just cut the existing crimp connection and make a new one when reinstalling
