Front Intake Manifold Vacuum Leak CEL P2187
So I have a vacuum leak coming from the circular inlet on the upper front of my intake manifold. This is probably a dumb question, but how do I fully insert this thing?? Would anyone be able to show me what theirs looks like? It isn't completely seated and sort of loose, but I can't remove it completely due to a metal bracket in the way. I'll happily pull out the IM again if I have to. After changing out the head gaskets while finding a snapped bolt along the way, I thought that the IM would be the least of my worries but apparently not.
For reference, the car drives perfectly but has a barely noticeable rough idle. Last week, it threw a CEL (Code P2187 right bank too lean on idle) twice, but it hasn't come back since and I drive it daily.
