c63 507 vinyl/decal/stripe replacement left hand side

c63 507 vinyl/decal/stripe replacement left hand side
Hi all!
My local Mercedes dealership had my c63 507 vehicle in and vehicle kindly opened another vehicle door onto the car leaving a 5p coin size scuff smack bang in the middle of the door!! They have agreed to cover the cost of the repair (whole door respray/lacquer) but it will require a new decal to go down the side of the car after the repair. Mercedes have said the decal "car kit" has only sold 7 time in the last 24 months, and is currently out of stock unsure when it will restock.
Is there any where else i can get this kit? Does anyone have one? I only really need the left hand side. Can't be certain the cheap ones on ebay would match the other side of the car. Ideally I want the OEM one, which is a matt black with silver like flake the whole way through it. Can vinyl companies copy it?
Any tips/thoughts would be great.

Ebay ones are all garbage and don't match well - also depending on the color of your 507 there is a more gray stripe and a more black stripe.
The only one I have ever seen that is pretty well matched is from this gentleman in the UK, he had some reproduced and the match is very good - I had the more gray color and the match was better than anything I have seen - it is impossible to be 100% as the vinyl color is proprietary to Mercedes, but his was 95%.
If it was me, I would hold the dealership accountable to order the OEM one and hopefully you eventually get one and in the mean time maybe get the reproduction out of your own pocket.
