Strange leak on M156 Timing cover

Hello Guys, hope you are doing well.

I need expert opinion. I have a problem on my m156.

Looks like there is a leak in this hole on the timing cover here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/126abs7V6-TY4XNyBchnio3cDPC2-zMak/view?usp=sharing. Speaker is in French but guy from MB shows first the hole from timing cover. There is coolant leaking from there.
Then he explain what happen by showing demo timing cover. He explains coolant leaks from inside with the pasting joint probably destroyed.

What is your though ? What would you do ?

Thank you very much by advance for your kind help.

Regards,

Barichon

Interesting problem and probably expensive, if you need to pull the engine and remove all the covers to get to this hole from the inside. I have no idea why it's there to begin with. I would check on the WIS to begin with to see what specific instructions are given to blank off the hole(s) and gouge.

Indeed my AMG specialist said they will have to take out the moteur. It has 50k km, come on.Just can't believe it.
Anyway they will do the lower crankcase sealing at the same time. Let's be positive, it's a blessing in disguise.

Will tell you the definitive price, I think I will have to sell one kidney (or two !).

thanks for the reply, I don’t have WIS anyone could help and check this for me ?

do I really need to take the motor out to remove the timing cover ?

If yes, which other maintenance would you recommend to do while the motor is out ?

The c63 has 50500 km….
