Cool Hood release cable is broken

My 20k mile, 2010 C63 has a bad cable to open the hood. My owners manual will not tell me the secret how to open it.
There are three door flaps on the front of the car. One off centered is for a tow hook and the other two have spring loaded flaps.
These appear to be the only way to open my hood. I HAVE to open it as I have a bad radiator leak so can't drive my car very far!!
If I tried to call a dealer for help, I know very well what they would suggest and charge, OUCH !!
Has anyone on here ever had to open a locked hood before and knows the secret? A high end body shop maybe??
Thanks for any help given !!

This video should help. You will need to jack the car up and put it on jack stands. Remove the front underbelly body panel and then reach up with you hand or a screwdriver and release the catch mechanisms. There are two of these one on either side of the radiator. Watch the video. The spring loaded flaps are for the headlight washers if your car has them.

Seems the C63 latch may be a little different from the one in the video I posted earlier. See this older thread that I posted in for more information to get the latches open.

Cool My hood will not unlock still

Thanks for your help which I saw earlier on YouTube before posting here. The real problem is that my car is a C63, P51 car that has a very full engine compartment.
It is lots fuller than those on a Cclass 250, 300 or 350. I don't have those small flaps to drop open but have all the front under trays removed. I've also
removed the left front wheel and inner plastic splash shield and found the cable, pulled on it hard and it
was no help! Any other ideas of how to open it without having to drop the bumper assy. and grille next??
I just hate dealers (stealers) like most of us.
BTW, I also have a 460hp 1984 190 sedan for track use and won NASA/se Time Trial/race class 5 years in a row!!

Are both latches locked? Try going in the right (passenger side) with the wheel and fender liner removed. If you look at the latch mechanism can you see the lever that the cable is attached to and pulls? Pull on the lever that the cable pulls and it should release the latch.

This makes me think I should have my trickle charger directly in the trunk. Do these break often?
