Any other way to switch transmission mode?

As it says in the title, any way besides the dial next to the shifter? Pretty sure mine just went out. No light and no response when turning it. I'd like to be able to change it while I wait on the part, as I prefer sport and manual modes.

I'd say probably not as I've never seen another option in the 8 years I've owned mine. I'm interested to know as well.

I had one time where mine was "stuck" on comfort mode. Mine at least had the light on, but I thought it was broken. Let the car sit over night and it has been fine ever since. Has been working for at least 2 years now. Knock on wood.

I’m pretty sure if you grab the paddles it switches to M.

Well, the same thing happened to me... After the car was parked for 3 or 4 hours at my friends house, started her up and everything was fine again. No issues since, fingers crossed.

I did order a new mode selector dial just in case to have around if this becomes permanent.

This would work on my old E55K, but alas no such feature of a face-lift W204.
