MoS2 - but FCP site says not suitable for use with Wet Clutches!
Hello,
I just bought a 2012 C63 and have read people like to use Ceratec and MoS2. I was about to buy MoS2 from FCP Euro, but it says “Not suitable for use with wet clutches!”
The 2012-2015 C63’s have wet clutches, right??? So I’m a bit confused now.. any input appreciated, thanks!!

you're not to add either to your transmission fluid, only engine. in some situations some use MoS2 with their gear sets or transmissions, but I wouldn't. transmission fluid and gear oil is not EPA regulated and do the job if you purchase the correct product.

Oh haha I was just going to add it to my oil, not transmission! I see now, thank you for clarifying!!
is it ok to add now or should I wait until a new batch of oil is in? I read that for the Ceratec, you should only add it to the oil with a fresh oil change.

Ceratec requires a minimum run of 3K miles for the treatment to take effect. Afterwards, it is effective for up to 30K miles according to LM.
MoS2, on the other hand, works right away.
They are never to be used together.

injectors are cheap and easy to replace and have a bit of a high failure rate on these cars and can cause pretty major damage when they leak, I do them at 50k or less on any c63 I have owned, so would recommend that over cleaner. You don’t need the amg branded ones, a search on this forum will get you the bosch part number and a full set is around 200-250

Just disregard that warning. I like to put Ceratec in my coffee. It makes shifts 23% faster. You can use it like hair gel too, chicks dig it.
