Unresolvable engine vibration... (W204 C63 M156)
I'm putting a lot of time and effort into resolving the engine vibration and jerk.
But I guess it wasn't easy.
My engine has a lot of irregular vibrations when cold, but at medium temperatures it is smooth,
and as the oil temperature goes over 100 degrees, the continuous vibration and jerk comes back.
So far I have carried out the following maintenance.
Engine, transmission mounts replacement (Mercedes genuine)
Engine head overhaul, valve wrapping, stem seal replacement and surface machining
Replacing timing chain and aligning timing.
Cam adjuster plates replacement
Tappets replacement (INA)
Intake manifold assembly replacement. (used)
Intake manifold overhaul, disassembly and cleaning, bolts / gasket replacement and adaptation (Mercedes genuine)
Replacing all spark plug coils (Delphi)
Replacing both oxygen sensors in front of the catalyst. (Bosch)
What should I do next?
Could the oxygen sensor behind the catalyst also affect engine vibration?
I knew that the oxygen sensor behind the catalyst was only used to monitor catalyst efficiency, but there seems to be other opinions.
I would like some advice.
Thanks!!
If so, its possible its making contact somewhere and causing a "vibration" possibly on the cross bar where the pipes run to the resonator or where the resonator should be.
