I have searched and seen Dad's C63 and his carbon fiber trunk. I also noticed Seibon makes a carbon fiber trunk, but i have not had great experience with them in the past (this was 10 years ago). Is there a trusted or reliable source for a carbon fiber trunk in the US for a coupe W204?
The previous owner of my C63 stuck a wing on with tape. Water got under the wing and ruined the paint. Instead of having the trunk redone, i would like to replace it with a carbon fiber trunk.

Most spoilers are stuck on with tape and I haven't heard of this issue, there must have been some type of permeation.
Was the tape torn/etc? Any pictures of the trunk damage?
Looks like there is also VIS racing but I'd expect same level of quality...

I doubt that is just water damage. Looks like "tape" wasn't the only thing that was used to hold it on with.
