Idk what to do about my cam ajusters…
I own a w204 c63 and I’ve been loving it but about 2 months ago once in a while on cold starts or some warm starts I hear a rattle that only lasts 1-2 seconds . Vehicle drives smooth and perfect. I’m not sure what to do since this is my first amg vehicle , is this a major issue?

Also, any MB dealer should be able to do the work.
They may not "warranty" the parts themselves but the will warranty the installation of the part.
63 motorsports I believe has a warranty on most if not all of their cam adjuster kits.

don't quote me though.
That being said, if you have to have it repaired outside of the warranty then you should certainly use non-stock replacements.

You may end up coming back with the same issue if you use stock replacements which they will do under warranty but I would imagine that would not happen for quite awhile.

This. The stock parts have a softer metal than the 63motorsports one. It's a costly job out of warranty. If I you could get them replaced under warranty I would do that as that buys you a lot of time. It took about 60k miles for mine to start making noise.
