iPE Exhaust Help
Hi y誕ll,
I知 posting as I知 looking to purchase a C63 that is fitted with a full exhaust (from headers to tip) with an iPE exhaust. I知 also posting as I知 not at all educated when it comes to custom exhausts, I知 usually a stock guy. I had a couple of questions for those more seasoned than myself:
Thanks in advance for any help as this area is completely foreign to me.

- If returning to stock, how much $ can I roughly salvage from the installed iPE exhaust? How much do used OEM exhausts go for? Or should I just buy the parts new?
- Is there any hit to reliability from the iPE exhaust? Outside of the exhaust there don稚 seem to be any mods and it痴 well maintained.
Thanks in advance for any help as this area is completely foreign to me.

Sometimes members will sell their old exhaust, just have to watch for it. E55 guys buy the mufflers. Might get lucky in their threads. Some sites like VividRacing or others may sell the mid section.

People usually hock a used setup from the $1500-3000 dollar range depending on the situation.
Depending on the tune and such, your gas mileage may suffer with the aftermarket exhaust but its not like it would have been great when it was stock either.
It may be the easiest solution to get the mid section and back replaced and leave the header setup alone to avoid either removing/lifting the motor or dropping the steering rack.
