Alrighty guys, I made a post earlier about everything needing to be done and so far along the list I have done the PCV valve, the weistec head studs, the fuel injectors, spark plugs, ROW air boxes, etc. Now I have a broader question, has anyone on this forum had any experience with 63motorsports cam phasers? I’m starting to get that dreaded loud tapping on startup, liquid Molly didn’t work so I don’t believe it’s the tappets. And if so, how was the process of rebuilding the phasers? It looks fairly simple, but experience definitely is better than intuition here. Also, if you have done the rebuild, which stage did you buy? I’m tempted to buy the stage III+ solely for the lifetime warranty to never have to deal with it again, but if I can save a grand and still never have to deal with that again that would be amazing.

No need for the Stage 3's, save your money and go with the standard Stage 1 plates. If anything just upgrade to the titanium adjuster bolts, the factory bolts strip very easily.
