Price of lifters at Indy shop?

Hey everyone, I picked up a project 2009 c63 with 165k that already has the cam adjusters + Headbolts done. I dropped it off at my go to Indy shop to install LTH as well as get it sorted out. He said engine wise it only needs lifters, just wondering what the going rate nowadays for that is as I was quoted about 2k parts and labor!

I haven't done them so I couldn't tell you for sure, but that seems really reasonable to me. Case in point, two different shops in the Northeast quoted me over $900 parts and labor for a single valve cover replacement...

Seriously, I couldn't believe it. I thought the first shop was F'in with me, so I went to another and the quote was almost the same. Ended up buying one as well as some wobble extensions and did it myself.
