Anyone had to deck their block?
Also, can anyone think of any other way coolant can make it into a cylinder causing white smoke/misfires, but not into the oil except a headgasket failure? Seems a cracked cylinder would cause coolant to leak past the piston unless it was right at the very top of the cylinder, which visually didn't appear to be the case when I reassembled last time.
I noticed evidence of the green glycol pigment stain in the port.
I had the head impregnated (Loctite Vacuum Impregnation) & it was never an issue after that.
