Anyone else have this experience? As expected with this many years, light failures are a given. But, seeing this melting on the left and right eyelid lights, at about three months apart, indicates a systemic problem. The pictures posted are from the latest incident on the right side. The exact same issue happened on the left, about three months ago. No aftermarket lighting; just OEM from the dealership. Problem now is, now that the housing and the mounting in the headlight itself is gone, both headlights in their entirety have to be replaced. I don't think a repair on the headlamp assembly is possible.
If I replace the headlamp assembly (nearly $1.9k), is there an LED option that won't burn up like the OEM? I've had an eyelid failure in the past, but with there being four bulbs, I don't remember which one I replaced.
