As a few of you know, I am undertaking the task of doing a BS replica kit on my sedan. If that wasn't enough, I was given the opportunity to purchase a complete panoramic sunroof for a W204(for pennies). Precursor...i am not attempting to create the fastest C63 east of the Mississippi and i understand I will be adding weight. Spare me... I will already be removing the front and rear windshield from my C63 in order to paint it. My question is. Does anyone know if the frame structure, at the roof, is any different depending on if you had a sunroof vs. panoramic optioned vehicle from factory? I have looked at diagrams and am under the impression that they have the same bonding structure/surface once the riveted roof is removed. Secondly, is it even possible to SCN code the OCP of a panoramic roof to a non-panoramic chassis. Thanks for the response and more on the build coming soon!

Well upon searching looks like some countries might have had that option for a non c63 so learn something new everyday.

Trust me I thought the same as you. Until a few weeks ago, a 2008 c300 came in with a panoramic sunroof. Was under the impression that panoramic didn't come until much later. I cut a panoramic sunroof out of a 204 today and will be attempting to install shortly. My only concern is the OCP won't agree with it once its installed in my 63.
