Wife parked car, go out next day no start, either fob.
checked main battery, was at good 58% on tester, old battery. So replaced. Replaced battery in fobs, in the car. Still nothing. Checker antenna fuse 7.5 amp, good fuse.
what’s active when get car:
Speedo lights up, lock unlock, trunk all work and the radio works. Windows don’t work
steering is NOT locked!
key for seem to be ok with flash red when buttons activated. Infrared tests out ok.
took the shifter out of park and pushed car. Nothing. Have Not checked brake light switch
while messing about one fob flashed out a repeated code on red light on pause, then 5 flashes. Couldn’t find anything about this
suspecting the ESL. has gone!

well yesterday I called for a tow to Mercedes, just for THOI I went out and the car started, all normal bells, whistles, wirrz everything worked, stopped and started about 20 times so far. Perfect. Now here is something I had Not noticed, when not starting, pressuring on the brake petal was rock solid. How when I get into the car the first thing I do is press the brake pedal, and it is normal in that it move down to firm. I’m still going to take into Mercedes for a check up. Comments very welcome. Maybe the car got scared when it heard me say it getting towed. Fixed itself. LOL
