I replaced the turn signals on my c63 the other month and I noticed the black trim around the mirror itself was loose on the bottom left side and would not snap back in.
So i took it apart again and see that the bottom left clip that goes into the housing is too bent the wrong way. So, like an idiot I try to force it the other way and it snapped. In hindsight I should have warmed it up first.
Am i able to find that black trim piece only anywhere online? I thought about a pick and pull but if i can buy ‘new’ that would be good. Can’t find much online.
Otherwise my only other option is to purchase a whole new side mirror or those nasty carbon fiber mirror covers. My cars silver and it won’t match well lol
