M156 help needed
Hey, looking for some help understanding this m156 problem.I'm going to breakdown into three sections. History, repairs and situation.
The problem: P0171, P0017, Misfire with code on bank 1. Misfire on bank 1 with no codes.
History: got this car about 2 months ago, 113,000 miles. Car runs fine ish. No problems noticed when I brought the car. Fine on test drive and acceleration.car did get misfires after I brought her. Misfire only on bank 1. Started out on c1,c2. Then progressed to c3,c4. Car has bad mpg, around 8 to 9mpg.
Repair: replaced intake manifold gasket, fuel injectors, spark plugs, coils, pcv, air filters, intake temp sensor, Ambient tempbsensor , o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 2, camshaft position sensor B(cel p0017).
Current situation: after the repair. Car got 11 to 15 mpg average depending on driving style. Misfire would happen only after engine has idle for long time or after hard driving and coming to a stop at a hill or stop light. Out of 10 time misfire would happen only 1 to 2 times. Meaning driving it in an hour period it would happen 1 or 2 times. It would go away if I put it in neural and Rev it to 2000rpm or more then it would idle with no misfire. Or shut off the engine and turn it on again it would go away.on idle when i rev the engine sometimes i hear a air noise like a turbo or air sound coming from the engine. When I drive the car hard I would sometime hear some air sound.
my guess: air leaks, vacuum leaks, bad catalytic converter. Intake manifold leak.I have done a spray test but no result. Smoke test not done yet.car feels low on power tho. But still has power, just feels like it could be more power.
