Power steering issue (new pump)
Thanks for anyone that can chime in
I had my car go to my indie mechanic for maintenance
Just before I took it to him my power steering pump started whining and I noticed a little drip on the ground as well
So I ordered a new palm from FCP Euro and he replaced it.
To be clear I did not have a power steering warning on the dash before I replaced it, I just heard the wine and new that the power steering pump was going because I'd experienced that before.
3 days after getting the car back the first time I hammered on it, I get the notification on the dash that check power steering pump and check owner's manual
I have checked the fluid and it's full and the belt tension is correct also
Did I just get a bad pump from FCP?
