W204 facelift c63 AMG
W204 c63 p0106

So I'm writing this post in case somebody is having or in the near future has a p0106 map sensor code and cannot figure it out. It's all started when I had a leaky intake. I purchased a brand new intake and then it started throwing a map sensor performance out of range code. After days and weeks of tracing wires and three map sensors later. I came to the conclusion after taking an air compressor wand and sticking it in the map sensor hole on the front of the intake that it was not getting any vacuum to the sensor. The hole was plugged. Search the internet for months trying to find a solution. Got to dealership told me that when they paint the intakes new sometimes the map sensor hold gets plugged. Sprayed a can of aircraft paint remover inside the hole. Which wasn't on the top of my list of things to try. Picked at it with overeating pics and a boroscope with no luck. Finally one day I just had enough and chucked up a drill bit inside a Dremel tool and drilled through the hole on the top back wall of the map sensor hole. This did fix the sensor reading in the code has been off for over a month now. If you take the one screw holding the power steering reservoir off slide it up and out of the way then you can get to the valve in front of the map sensor. There is one bolt on the top left side and one on the lower right side that you can't see until you remove the reservoir. Then I removed the two bolts out of the map sensor which gave me clear access to the hole. I hope this helps someone in the future to avoid the headache I just went through for the last 4 months
