That code is basically saying the ISM (shift motor on the side of the transmission) and transmission (internal control module) think it's in a different gear position from one another. For example, the shift motor may think its in drive, and the transmission thinks its in part. The car has no way of knowing thus it refuses to start for safety reasons. So one of them is most likely bad. Both parts are TRP (theft relevant) which are dealership only and vin coded which will require programming and coding. Unless the shop you use has a locksmith license they will be unable to purchase them on your behalf. You will need to provide either title or registration and your driver's license with matching addresses in order to even get the part which is not stocked by dealers.
