rev needle flickering but no fault codes
Hi guys,
i recently had my c63 in at a merc specialist to have valve cover gaskets replaced and asked them to check out the very slight rev needle flicker. it happens when the car is cold. the idle is completely fine and the car drives well.
the garage said they ran the car for 30 mins and there were no fault codes or anything wrong with any of the injectors etc.
does anyone know what this may be? starting to think it may just be due to the age of the car...

It's a high performance race engine forced to try and pass emissions. It's not going to have the same idle as a honda civic. It's very likely what you're experiencing is completely normal. These cars don't sit at a steady idle. They bob up and down a little its normal so see 100rpm change
