Discovered a leak coming from the edge of the passenger valve cover after seeing slight smoke when the car sat for a week. It seems like the oil is running from the area pictured down the bottom of the valve cover with visible oil on the screws. I asked ChatGPT what the possible causes are thinking it would just be the valve cover gasket but ChatGPT said that it’s possibly my cam magnet adjusters pushing oil out or the PCV.
I wanted to know if anyone had experience with a similar leak and if it simply is the valve cover gasket, which I know is a tedious job from videos watched. But I’ve never heard of cam adjuster magnets to be honest, and I have been struggling to find information on replacing them.
